Green Clean Management Workshop

Who is it for

The Green Clean Management Workshop is designed for Facility, Building, ESD and Cleaning Managers, who are participating in one or more of the following building rating schemes:

  • Green Star – Performance
  • The WELL Building Standard
  • NABERS Rating System

Green Cleaning far more successful if a partnership between cleaning contractors and building owner / tenants has been facilitated. Therefore we recommend that this Workshop be conducted by the contract principal, and all stakeholders be encouraged to attend.

What you will learn

In this one day workshop, you will learn how to meet rating requirements for each scheme, by exploring how they relate to the procurement and management of cleaning services.

Equally important as gaining rating points though, is learning how to optimise facility cleaning services for greater occupant wellbeing and operational sustainability.

You will be given practical strategies for collaborating with cleaning companies and personnel to:

  • Improve indoor air quality by reducing dust particulates and VOCs
  • Achieve measurably better surface hygiene and hand hygiene
  • Improve rates of recycling by reducing contamination
  • Achieve more efficient use of water and energy
  • Increase engagement from cleaning personnel

What you will get

You will be given workbooks which will be used to design your cleaning protocols and processes specific to your facility, rating scheme and job role.

Each participant will all receive a Green Clean Management resource kit containing:

  • A detailed workbook
  • Sample Green Cleaning Policy Template
  • Sample cleaning specifications
  • Cleaner’s room Checklist
  • A Certificate of Attendance
